Apricot Onion Chicken Wings
There are a lot of chicken wings recipes out there, but this Apricot Onion Chicken Wings recipe is one of my favorites. It mixes sweet with tart and the combination will make this a real party pleaser. You won't believe how simple this easy appetizer recipe is to put together.
What you'll need: - 1 5-lb. bag of frozen chicken wings - 1 10-ounce jar of apricot preserves - 1 packet of dry onion soup mix - 1 bottle of Catalina-style salad dressing First, preheat your oven to 400 degrees F. Cut the chicken wings into individual pieces (if necessary, cut off tips and cut in half to make two pieces) and place on two lightly greased cookie sheets. Next, spread the apricot preserves over the wings. Sprinkle the dry onion soup mix over the wings and then pour the Catalina dressing over all. Bake for 1 hour. That's it! How easy was that? This recipe makes 20 to 25 servings.
