Sesame Soy Beef Fondue Marinade
For a light, but zesty flavor, try this beef fondue marinade next time you have a fondue party. It's a nice twist on the classic Fondue Bourguignonne and everyone will love it!What you'll need: - 1/4 cup soy sauce - 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions - 2 Tbsp water - 2 Tbsp packed brown sugar - 1 1/2 Tbsp dark sesame oil - 1 tsp minced garlic - 1 tsp minced fresh ginger - 1/4 tsp pepper
First, combine all the ingredients in small bowl and stir until the sugar is dissolved to make the sesame soy beef marinade. For the fondue, simply trim all the fat from a beef tenderloin or sirloin and cut it into 1-inch cubes. Place the meat in a sealable baggie or shallow dish with the marinade. Refrigerate the marinating beef for 2-3 hours. To serve, heat fondue oil or broth according to manufacturer's instructions. Take out the marinating beef and gently pat the beef cubes with paper towels to remove excess marinade (this helps prevent spattering when cooking in the hot oil.) Cook cubes to desired doneness and serve with dipping sauces. Too yummy! Get creative and try different Fondue Dipping Sauces with this fondue. You'll never have the same fondue dinner twice and you'll never be disappointed with the outcome.
