Chipotle Tartar Sauce

Instead of the classic tartar sauce, why not try this version of Chipotle Tartar Sauce next time you want to try a new dipping sauce for your seafood fondue.

It's so delicious and really easy to make. All you need to do is set a little time aside to make it ahead of your fondue party or gathering and you'll be done!

And you can always substitute the mayonnaise with yogurt if you are watching calories.

You can store it in the refrigerator well in advance of your party, leaving you plenty of other precious time meant for prepping...

What you'll need:
- 1 cup sour cream or mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp drained capers (chopped)
- 2 Tbsp cornichons, gherkins or dill pickles (chopped)
- 1 1/2 Tbsp lime juice (fresh or bottled)
- 1 Tbsp canned chipotle chiles (minced)
- salt to taste

Here's all you do. Mix it. That's it! Mix all the ingredients and store it in the fridge. How easy is that?

This recipe is makes about 1 1/4 cups.
