Cranberry Cooler may be considered a holiday drink and it's especially pretty for Christmas, but you can also use this recipe for a refreshing appetizer for the warmer months.With the holidays here and many parties happening, you are going to need a slew of great ideas for appetizers and drinks. Here's a starting point to build your menu and please your friends and family.
You can make this drink with or without alcohol which means every member of the family will enjoy it. Kids love the flavor and feel special when you dress up the drink with some orange or lemon slices.

- 3 ounces of cranberry juice
- 2 ounces of orange juice
- 1/8 ounce of lime cordial*
- soda water
- frozen cranberriesOptional
- 1 1/2 ounces of vodka
- orange or lime slices for garnish
*lime cordial is a mixture of lime juice
and sugar - sometimes called lime syrup.
All you need to do is fill a cocktail shaker with ice and combine the cranberry juice, orange juice and the lime cordial.
Then, shake it up well and strain the mixture into a collins glass that is already filled with ice.
Add a squirt of soda water and add a frozen cranberry or 2 or 3 or 4. If you choose to garnish your glasses with festive slices of lime or orange slices, then you'll be dressing up the servings beautifully!
Want to jazz up this holiday drink? Then add 1 1/2 ounces of vodka per serving.
