Crispy Won Ton Skins

The best thing about Crispy Won Ton Skins is that the won tons are almost always available at your local grocery store in the freezer section.

Making them is a snap and they taste great all by themselves or with a chip dip recipe or yummy spread. It works well with a whole variety of dips.

Here's a neat idea for a Halloween party: Add some food coloring to the butter and then cut the won ton skins into interesting Halloween shapes before you bake them. It's a fun way to serve the chips and kids, especially will love how they look (and taste!)

After cutting the won tons into shapes, you'll have left overs, just save them, bake them and use them on top of egg drop soup or Chinese chicken salad. Here are some ideas for shapes: Orange pumpkins, ghosts, black cats, bats and green witches. How fun is snacking now?

What you'll need:
- 6 Tablespoons butter (melted)
- 20 won ton skins
- food coloring
- salt

First, preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Next, add the food coloring to the melted butter. Then, brush a baking sheet with a little of the melted butter.

While you are waiting for the oven to finish heating, cut the won ton skins into your desired halloween shapes. Try and put as many of the cut shapes as you can on the baking sheet. And then brush the pieces with your colored butter.

Bake the crispy won ton skins for about 5 minutes or until they turn crispy and golden. Repeat this process until all of the crisps are cooked.

Serve and watch the smiles all around...

FYI: This recipe goes really well with Black Bean Cheese Dip.
