Diablo Canyon Chicken Wings

Spicy, spicy, spicy, these delicious chicken wings will spice up the party!

Diablo Canyon Chicken Wings from my chicken wings recipes collection is wonderful for the spicy-shy adult and kid. The flavor is a nice mixture of sweet and salty. Try this easy appetizer recipe next time you go to a Super Bowl party or even a Memorial Day or Labor Day party.

What you'll need for
Diablo Canyon Chicken Wings:
- 1 lb. of chicken wings
(you can buy them frozen)
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1 1/3 cups brown sugar
(firmly packed)
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Paprika (to taste)

What to do for this simple appetizer:
First, if using fresh chicken wings, pat them dry and place in a pan. If using frozen, make sure you thaw them first.

Next, mix together the soy sauce, brown sugar, water, and garlic powder. Then, add the soy mixture to the chicken wings, cover, and marinate in the refrigerator overnight or for at least 8 hours. Making the recipe ahead of time, makes it so easy!

When you are ready to cook, pour off the marinade and reserve it. Bake wings at 350 degrees F for 1 hour. Finally, baste with the reserved marinade while cooking. When the chicken wings are done, sprinkle with paprika and serve. I bet you'll make this recipe over and over. It's a real crowd pleaser.
