Figs and Ham Tapas
Also known as Higos con Jamón
Who would have thought that a combination figs and ham tapas could make such a yummy appetizer? You'll want to make a whole meal out of it! I don't normally like fruit with meat, but there's something so delicious sounding about this combination that I had to try it. And it's worth it. You'll love it and so will your guests. Try it and enjoy! What you'll need: - Figs - Chives - Smoked ham - chopped into smallish pieces - Olive oil
Make a small cut in the middle of the fig and add into each some smoked ham and a pinch of chives. Dribble some really good virgin olive oil over it... just a touch! Is that easy or what? Sink your teeth into that combo! This tapas recipe is especially good to serve to hungry crowds that need a little "tiding over" until the late-served meal. It's not too filling, but definitely takes the edge off of your appetite. In fact, watch out, you might like it so well that you skip the main meal all together! Enjoy!
