Lemon Mayonnaise Sauce
Lemon mayonnaise sauce works extremely well with seafood fondue, but don't limit yourself. Try it with beef or meat fondue and chicken fondue, too. It's fresh flavor brings out the best in your meats when using as a fondue dipping sauce. What you'll need: 1 1/2 cup of mayonnaise (or make your own mayonnaise ) 3 Tbsp fresh or bottled lemon juice 3 Tbsp water 1/3 cup of chopped green onion tops 2 small cloves garlic (minced or mashed) Blend all the ingredients in a blender or food processor. Cover and chill until ready to serve. You can divide the mayonnaise mixture between 6 small bowls or have it ready and waiting to spoon out from a larger bowl.
