Peanut Butter and Chocolate Fondue

Picture me rolling my eyes heaven-ward as I visualize my next dessert I'm going to make: Peanut Butter and Chocolate Fondue. Oh my gosh! It's like having a giant Reece's peanut butter cup that you get to share with your friends and family. It makes my mouth water, just writing about it!

And it's all so simple to do.

What you'll need:
- 12 ounces semisweet chocolate pieces
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 8 ounces pineapple chunks, drained
- 2 large bananas cut into 1-inch pieces
- Lemon juice
- Seedless grapes
- Cubed pound cake or angel food cake
- Marshmallows
- Strawberries
- Apple slices

First, after cutting up the fruit, pat it dry. Brush a little lemon juice on your apple and banana pieces. This helps keep the fruit fresh and from turning brown. You can store the cut fruit in the refrigerator until you are ready to dip into the fondue.

Next, melt the chocolate and stir in the peanut butter. Mix until smooth. At this point, heat the mixture until hot and put in a heat-proof serving dish (chafing dish or fondue pot). Arrange a selection of fruit and cake as dippers on platter around the fondue. Eat until you can eat no more! Your kids will love you, your husband or wife will think you are amazing, and your friends will be falling all over themselves to get the recipe (send them here to Easy Appetizer Recipes !)

This recipe makes about 1 1/3 cups of melted yummy fondue goo.
