Here's a fun and delicious after school snack or treat. Tiny Tortilla Pizzas are a wonderful alternative to the usual peanut butter and jelly sandwiches or crackers and cheese. Plus kids love to help make them with you. And the best part is, they are not just for kids, adults love the too!
What you'll need:
- small corn tortillas
- salsa
- shredded cheddar cheese
What to do:
Build up some salsa and cheese on each tortilla. Bake the tortillas on a foil-lined tray in toaster oven until the cheese
has melted and is brown at the edges.
Extras: A layer of refried beans under the salsa, cilantro for garnish, a dollop of sour cream or a sprinkle of finely chopped green pepper
